About Alie

Hello! My name is Alie. I just finished my second year of teaching kindergarten in Davenport, IA, but am relocating to Chicago. Not only do I have more than four years of experience in a school setting, but I also have been a nanny to multiple families for over 10 years, and worked as The Youth and Development Coordinator for my local YMCA working with children birth to 12. During my past two years while teaching I have been a tutor for students kindergarten through fifth grade. I am passionate about differentiating my instruction to meet the individual needs of each student I work with. I also pride myself on using multiple strategies and interventions to help each child reach their full potential! I have experience tutoring in reading and math, and have access to reading and math materials for all grade levels. Being an educator is my passion in life. I love working with students and helping them grow. I will do my best to plan and create lessons and interventions that meet the needs of any child.
