About Alicia

Hello! I'm a childcare professional with over 20 years of experience in teaching and education administration. In early 2018, I relocated to Traverse City from Chicago, where I worked as an Education Program Director at a non-profit community arts school for 16 years. There, I developed class curricula & a variety of arts-based programs, hired & trained teachers, and built relationships with parents, children, & families. Here in Traverse City, I've worked at several non-profits, including Blackbird Arts and Goodwill Northern Michigan. Additionally, I have a culinary & business background, and I co-owned a restaurant and bakery business (Gold Baby Biscuits and Ponyboy Bake Drop) here in TC for four years. I'm so excited to get back to my roots and connect with local families like yours!
