About Alicia

I have been a nanny, a day companion, and a babysitter for more than 5 years. I have worked with children ages 3 months to 12 years, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I really enjoy doing activities in small groups, and I try to make sure I go outside with the children at least for a short time every day. I am a strong Christian and believe that providing a loving, nurturing environment for children to grow up in where they experience the love of God is very important, and my past experience has usually involved working for families within my local church. I especially enjoy taking care of young children (the younger the better, in my opinion), and have worked extensively with children 2-5 years old. I also have units in Early Childhood Education that I have found to be very helpful in creating activities that interest and challenge the children I watch. It is such a blessing to be able to work with children and watch them grow. I consider it a gift to be able to help parents by providing a loving caregiver for their children when they go to work, and I hope to work with children for many years to come.
