I have a lot of experience in caregiving for special needs. I cared for a child up to adult age . Disability included severe autism /angleman syndrome. The person I cared for also had chronic seizures, mental and physical disabilities. He also had severe meltdowns. , had to be fed if not finger foods , as well as had be changed, fed , and dressed. Seizures finally weakened him to the point of not being able to no longer walk . I have also worked with seniors with mental health issues . I have compassion and love working with children , seniors , and individuals with special needs . They deserve patience, love and compassion. I also have a family member with special needs , so I have a very soft spot for them.
