As someone who is currently working towards their bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, I have had many special education courses and tutored children with language delays and autism. I worked on developing their reading/comprehension skills along with vocabulary. Most of my experience has been with ages 2-8 years of age. Also, I have worked as an assistant coordinator for 4-H Youth Development. 4-H is made to be inclusive, so again I had the opportunity to work with some wonderful, exceptional children. Working with children, along with coming from a family with many individuals who work in medicine, I'm aware and comfortable working with children with disabilities and feel I am capable of helping with most of their needs. My personality is upbeat and creative, and I like to think of myself as an empathetic and caring individual.
