About Alicia

I have specialized in many years of taking care of newborns. Helping them develop in their environment and their growth to become independent children. Teaching plays an important role in my job as a nanny, not only do I make their new learning experience fun and entertaining, but I teach them how to play safely and to enjoy and appreciate time with family and friends. In total experience of 10 years, my primary concern for babies is their proper nutrition and wellbeing thoughout their development. I have been a Nurse Assistant, taken CPR courses, and become an Electro Cardiogram specialist. My last achievement was Phlebotomist Specialist. During my education and work experience I gained a wealth of knowledge to take care and fully develop children to be well rounded in different areas. My last job as a nanny took place in New Jersey. I worked for a family for 4 years. I started by taking care of one beautiful girl as a newborn and stayed around long enough to meet their other baby girl whom I also took care of. I relocated to live with my oldest daughter in Virginia, which was the reason for leaving that position. Other experience: I am a parent myself to two grown daughters; my oldest is 24 years old in the Navy and my second youngest 18 years old in College. I speak read and write Spanish. I can also teach your children another language if you are looking for them to be challenged in another language.
