About Alicia

I'll just start by saying that Alicia is AMAZING! She watched our twin girls from January, 2014 until September, 2015. Our girls were 2 1/2 when she began watching them and 4 when she left. She watched them full time for most of that time period, which included long 9-10 hour days sometimes. The only reason Alicia is no longer with us is that we enrolled the girls in preschool in order to get them ready for Kindergarten in 2016. I can't say enough great things about Alicia. She is kind, patient, loving, and mature. I was initially worried that she may be too young to handle two rambunctious toddlers, but those worries quickly disappeared. She handled even the toughest of days with empathy and grace, even in situations where I would have probably lost my cool. Alicia responds well to direction (potty training, food limits, discipline, etc.) and special requests (taking the girls to places like the zoo, etc. so they weren't cooped up in the house.) She even accompanied me when we took them to the dentist or doctor. After her time with us, while she was working abroad as an Au pair, we would exchange letters, emails, and Face Time. The girls missed her very much and were so excited when Alicia returned home. Alicia developed a bond with the girls that will be long standing. She is our go-to for child care for date nights, etc. But mainly just so the girls can spend time with her. She really cares about my girls, and it shows. For that, I am so grateful. I recommend Alicia with no hesitation or reservation. You definitely want to meet this young woman and you will not be disappointed.
