I LOVE animals! While in college and while starting my teaching career, I would pet sit for many families, specifically while they went away on short trips or on vacations. I love big dogs, little dogs, cats, rodents and am not squeamish caring for reptiles and/or large insects. I never had dogs and cats growing up, so as soon as I was able to care for and own my own dogs, I have had one or two ever since. We do not own cats, as my husband is allergic, but I love to groom, pet, take them for walks, and care for them. I am currently a teacher in Delaware and have been for 23 years. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind if you are going on a vacation. I promise you, I am the kind of pet sitter you would want to hire to care for your pets, if you are trying to enjoy time away from your home. I a non-smoker, tenured teacher, mom of two children.
