About Alicia

Hello, my name's Alicia! I'm a 28-year-old college student who has a passion for working with children. I'm currently an occupational therapy assistant student, bringing a unique combination of compassion, patience, and child development knowledge. My academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of child behavior, sensory needs, and developmental milestones. I engage children in fun, age-appropriate, and meaningful activities. I am comfortable supporting children with diverse needs and personalities. I enjoy being outdoors, arts and crafts, swimming and sports. I'm a very hands on, I love to engage in activities with the children. I also research and plan activities around the things I think will be beneficial for the individual. For instance working on specific things such as fine, gross motor skills and self regulation skills in ways that they personally would enjoy. I would describe myself as nurturing, responsible and dependable.
