I raised 6 of my own children and have helped with their children. I am comfortable with newborns to teenagers. I am an old hand at everything from Barbies & dress-up to Hot Wheels & building forts. I recognize when a child wants their quiet space or needs attention. Personal space is important. I promote a happy, calm, peaceful environment. I know basic ASL. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am a non-smoker and pet friendly. My vehicle is reliable. I leave your home as clean as when I arrived. I will help out with laundry and light housekeeping as requested. For the most part Algene was on time and consistent. She worked with for us for a while but quit abruptly abandoning her scheduled appointment with us after I spoke to her about my kids being left in soiled clothes and with soiled sheets. We also had to speak about phone use and had to prompt her to help with laundry and cleaning after the kids. She did cultivate a good relationship with my children. But I think she is best suited for older children.
