About Alfred

Outgoing, flexible, and authentic, I bring 12 years of tutoring experience to students of all ages and abilities. I started tutoring middle school students in 2012 as a college freshman and later worked with college-age and non-traditional learners during my PhD. As a professor at UW-Whitewater, I've mentored future teachers. This breath has helped me develop an extensive toolbox of strategies. I believe in helping students discover their own steps to tailor the learning process. Whether it's improving grades, building confidence, or preparing for exams, or looking for a mentor towards a longer-term goal, we'll tackle your goals together. All ages, abilities, and journeys are welcome-I'll meet you where you are and help guide the way forward. In my spare time, I exercise, play music, and explore classical Chinese philosophy.
