About Alex

Hi there :) I am an early childhood educator and trained and certified birth and postpartum doula. After years of working in various childcare fields, my journey has led me to specializing in newborn (and mother care). All throughout college, I worked as a nanny for families in the area, as well as a supplemental school teacher. After getting a degree in child development, I taught kindergarten for 4 years. During Covid I stepped out of the public school system and ran a homeschool kindergarten (Montessori style, where the focus was on nature education, emotional development, and was entirely child centered). After such a wonderful experience, I decided I did not want to return to the public school system, so I shifted gears into birth and postpartum work. I deeply care about offering children (and parents) a safe space to self evolve and navigate the world from a place of confidence and positive affirmation. Raising children is one of the hugest tasks, and families need support.
