I recently graduated from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN with a degree in Educational Studies. In the summer I help manage a Summer Day Camp Program. This includes care for children ages 5-12 on average. This position requires me to make daily shift schedules for the employees, daily schedules for the children, billing for parents, shopping for sport and art supplies, grocery shopping for daily snacks, providing daily educational activities, and of course the childcare itself. I am about to go into my sixth summer at this position but am looking for a part time job until Summer comes around. I have also volunteered at a YMCA summer camp as a counselor in training, volunteered at my church nursery regularly, and have plenty of babysitting experience. My last 3 semesters of college, I nannied for a family with 5 children ranging from 18 months old to 13 years, at start. I am CPR and first-aid certified. In the future, I hope to open a childcare center of my own.
