About Alexis

I attended college at RIC where I majored in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have done over 700 hours of in person internship within the classroom and I love working with children. I am now going on my 4th year as a self-contained special educator for 3rd-5th grade in a Providence Elementary School. I am very passionate about the work I do for my students and the love I have for them as individuals. I am organized, able to multitask and can be very creative. I can work with multiple children of different ages and abilities and can help cater to their individual needs. I have three amazing nephews and one niece that I have helped raise since birth! I believe children learn best with a trusted loving adult and through hands on experiences!
