About Alexis

I know I'm the most caring person you will meet and my own experiences speak for themselves. At 13 years old my grandfather had gotten dementia and cancer, I was the one taking care of him from 13 to 17 years old. When he was in hospice for cancer I was with him every moment and learning how to care for someone who has those issues. I than went on to becoming a nanny to children and a caregiver to seniors. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver as it has been 5 years for me with other seniors but like I said since a young age always caring. One family I cared for had a nice senior in his 70s who had Alzheimer's. We always played dominoes, card games, built birdhouses, glued puzzles, and read together. At times I had to help him change or give sponge baths. I cooked everyday, cleaned, and gave medicine on time. In the end I really enjoy what I do and now me and my husband had moved to Florida starting a new life. Thank you for your time. -Alexis
