We hired Alexis through care.com and she is the absolute best. She nannied our children for 2 years. I am a nurse and my husband is Active Duty Army, so our schedules can be very unpredictable. Alexis is dependable, punctual, consistent, caring, and fun. She was able to balance care with my son now 11 and daughter now 5. With kids that spread apart in age, this can be a challenge. Alexis was able to multitask and keep both happy and productive. Alexis became like family to us. Helping me keep up the grocery list, ensuring the kids did homework, chores, and helping with our cats. She is a great communicator and kept me aware of any behavior issues or successes she had with the kids. She was available for care on days they were sick and followed any and all medication/treatment expectations I left for her. She catered to the interests of both kids by playing outside, video games, reading, baking, and tons of crafts. I hated that we moved away and lost our best nanny ever. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. My kids even asked if she could just move with us. Any family would be lucky to have her.
