About Alexis

My name is Alexis and working with children is my greatest passion! I am a senior at Southern completing my Bachelors Degree in Special Education and will be student teaching come January! I will be a certified teacher come May, but have a great deal of experience through work and school. I have many years of experience working at a Special Education summer camp for 9 years and nannying/babysitting for many different families since the age of 12! I have spent the last two years working at as a Preschool teacher at a local learning center! I love teaching and enjoy doing all types of exciting and educational activities with kids! I also have experience tutoring/assessing virtually and I was one-on-one with a first grader doing distance learning this spring. I am also Connecticut Child Care and CPR/AED (Adult, Child Infant) Certified!
