I have been studying in the medical fields since 2016. (I enrolled in college courses prior to graduating high school). I've been working in a long term care facility for approximately a year now. Within that time span I've learned a wide range of skills that include but are not limited to, changing colonoscopy bags, repositioning clients, total and partial feedings, transferring clients to and from activities and the restroom. I've worked with a wide range of conditions such as Aphasia, seizure disorder, anxiety disorder, major depression, bipolar depression, borderline personality, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and more. I've also received my Geriatric Nursing Certification just this month. I have extensive experience with educating young children with and without cognitive disabilities. Between 2018 to the beginning of 2023 I worked in several daycare centers and I have been babysitting children since 2016.
