Hi I'm Alexis! I've been babysitting for family since I could properly change a diaper and I've loved being with kids ever since. I'm currently studying as a bilingual education major at UT Austin and I am conversational in Korean and ASL. In high school, I spent summers with 3-4 kids every day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. so I am no stranger to lunch, naptime routines, and tidying up. I'm experienced with cooking for dietary restrictions, rowdy playtimes, and caring for infants. Pets are also always welcome and I'm happy to answer any questions parents have before meeting. As an education major I have taught in Montessori classrooms as well as public school. I bring a social-emotional approach to childcare and promote interactive activities without screentime to build relationships with children and develop necessary skills for navigating the world.
