About Alexis

I have always had a passion for working with children. As the oldest of four siblings, with my youngest brother being autistic, I have always had a special place in my heart for kids, especially ones who need extra care. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and learn, and I am committed to providing just that. I have one year of experience as a childcare provider, and I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I am patient, calm, and creative, and I love playing games and having fun with children. I am CPR certified , and I also follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents about their child's day verbally at pick-up, and I also provide regular updates via text or phone calls. I use whatever method works best for the parents. In addition to childcare, I am also willing to help with cooking and meal preparation, as well as light housekeeping.
