About Alexis

Hi ! My name is Alexis and I currently work in a research facility specializing in employee safety. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health with a minor in Infectious Disease and Prevention and a Bachelor Degree in Community Health. During my undergraduate education I worked with people with intellectual disabilities supporting all age ranges. As a direct support professional I have experience working with individuals with vast dietary needs including food texture modification, assisting individuals with urinary and bowel incontinence, and activity's of physical and basic daily living . I also have experience with community based interventions. In my spare time, I like to cook, dance around my house playing music, sing out of key, swim, practice my wood working skills, volunteer with United Way and spend time with my cat Milo. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated to putting good energy into the universe and being a good individual.
