About Alexis

I've always had a hard time writing bios for myself but here it goes! I am a very dedicated mom to two amazing toddlers. I am an artist of many different mediums. I love crafting with my kids and creating fun activities to fuel their imagination. I take my parenting role very seriously and I spend a lot of time reflecting on how my behaviors affect my children not just now but long-term so that I have the best chance of both having a healthy relationship with them when they are adults as well as a higher chance that they have an ease in transitioning through life in all its ups and downs. I value being silly and playful while still having firm boundaries so that children feel secure in their expectations of me. I know that there's so much more that's relevant to this position but what I can assure you is that getting to know me is the best way to understand if our families are right fit for each other.
