Hi there! My name is Alexis. I recently saw your post and I am very interested in the position. I am a student at San Diego State University and I am currently studying Child Development. I am about to go into my last semester at San Diego State and then I plan on receiving my teaching credentials from there to become an elementary school teacher. I have cared for children for 7+ years now and I have experience with children all ages from infant to teenagers. I have also had internships at Hardy Elementary, Zamorano Elementary, and Grant K-12. I have my own transportation with a squeaky clean driving record and I am CPR/First Aid certified as well. I do not mind pets (I love love love dogs) and I do not mind light housework around the house at all. Currently, I watch another child Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Alexis was punctual, actually early. She is very pleasant and came prepared to do homework while my son slept. She was extremely patient as this was his first time with a sitter in my home, and despite the lengthy period it took before he fell asleep. I will hire her again next opportunity.
