About Alexis

I'm an early childhood educator and nanny with over seven years of experience caring for children of all ages. My passion is helping children learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. I've worked in daycare settings and as a nanny for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I'm patient, calm, and creative. I love playing games, reading stories, and incorporating educational play with children. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules with the utmost importance of following the lead of parents. I believe that open communication is key to a successful childcare provider-parent relationship. I provide written daily reports and provide written or verbal communication depending on parent preference. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends. I have my Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology with a focus on Childhood Development. Empathy, compassion, dedication, and trust are central to my work.
