About Alexis

Hello, I'm Alexis, an experienced mathematics professor and tutor. I have over 10 years experience working with all ages of students on different levels of math and statistics. I like tutoring because it allows me to share my passion for learning and help others achieve their academic goals. There's a unique satisfaction that comes from seeing a student's face light up when they finally understand a concept that they've been struggling with. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys. I started tutoring when I was in undergrad. My college advisor volunteered me to help his probability and statistics students overcome the challenges they faced in learning the course concepts. My skills include effective communication, patience, and deep understanding of subject matter.
