Starting with watching the neighborhood kids while their parent's were still home at age 11, I have been babysitting for years, taking on new experiences and challenges as I grow. For 5 years, I worked as a swim instructor for kids and adults ages 2-70. I was repeatedly acknowledged for providing a caring, exciting and lovingly challenging style of swim lesson to children. In fact, I gained many babysitting jobs and requests for private swim lessons because of this. I have had the privilege of watching many kids grow and change through being in their lives for years. From twins, to infants to children who had never had a babysitter before and do not enjoy parting with their parents, I've been able to provide a smooth transition and a genuinely fun experience for everyone. :)

My Care.com subscription is about to expire and my final act on the platform is to sing the praises of this INCREDIBLE human. Please prepare for an overly sappy post! When we set out to find a caregiver for our 1 year old, I was beyond nervous for the transition. The moment I connected with Alexis, that feeling vanished. She is truly kinder, more responsible, more wonderful, and more magical than I could have hoped for and has 100% become like a member of the family. My daughter is OBSESSED. We kept waiting for *something* to be "wrong" with her, because how could any human be this wonderful? But a year later we're still in awe that we were lucky enough to find her. I could never have imagined we'd find someone we trust so thoroughly and I am forever grateful. If you're looking for care, HIRE HER.
