My name is Alexis and I am a 20-year-old College student. I am studying business management so I can one day have a non-profit. I have always loved life and all the people I get to meet along the way. Especially children and those who need the most love from others. I love special needs kids because they see the world in a different way and it is beautiful to me to be a part of their daily lives and witness them accomplish things they never thought they could! I volunteered and worked as an after-care counselor for about 4 years and during that time, I had experience caring care special needs children. As well as at the Miami Fashion Board for a year, I was able to teach some special needs kids how to model and break out of their shell on stage and show their true inner beauty. Sometimes we think our job to help and teach these kids everything, but some of the most important lessons in life, they teach us by just being themselves.
