I aspire to one day be a certified Registered Behavior Technician, so I can help autistic and ADHD kids thrive in a learning environment. In 11th grade, I took the SAT with Essay. My total score was 1290, which was in the 90th percentile. My goal as a tutor is not to give kids the answers to their homework. Rather, my goal is to give them the tools and confidence they need to find the answer themselves, and know when to ask for help if they need a push in the right direction. I want kids to know that they are smart, and to use the resources around them. I want to make learning new things into less of a chore, and more of an adventure. Curiosity should thrive in a child's mind; if we lose curiosity, we become stagnant. Everyone deserves the chance to grow.
