My name is Alexis, and I've been a lead teacher and nanny in Michigan! I started teaching in 2010 with toddlers at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's Children's Learning Center, while studying Psychology. After five years, I became a lead preschool teacher at Apple Ridge Academy in New Berlin, WI. In 2018, I became an AmeriCorps member serving as a literacy tutor for elementary students in Madison, where I received "AmeriCorps Member Of The Year" for the State and "Most Impactful Member" nationally. Outside of the classroom, I am a clean Hip-Hop artist, an author, a Milwaukee Bucks fan, camp counselor and more. The children will always be inspiration for my mentorship. They motivate me to continue to be uplifting. I hope to continue my journey of being a positive role model for as long as I live.

Alexis is reliable and trustworthy, and was just who we needed to care for our 3 and 5 year old daughter and son. Alexis provided consistent evening care for about 3 months. He played with our son and daughter and was very engaged - he read books, played games, and did activities that they love to do. He was even able to get them into a bedtime routine that was super helpful for our early mornings. Alexis is a wonderful caregiver and human being.
