I am new to the Kansas City area after moving to be closer to family. I have a masters in social work and have worked with children and families for 4 years as a therapist, case manager, and advocate. I pride myself in having a skill set of listening to children and providing empathetic, thoughtful, yet reflective communication with kids. I believe it is important to meet kids where they are at based on their developmental levels and engage in age appropriate activities. I work at two elementary schools as a Family Liaison and am interested in secondary employment. I have a history as a nanny when beginning college, I was a full time nanny for 2 children.

Alexis watched my twins from the time they were 9 months until 8 years old. She quickly became a safe haven to my children. She is unbelievably kind, trustworthy and comforting, I always feel completely comfortable when she is with my children and I have never questioned their safety. Silliness and fun was never in short supply when she came to babysit, they always had the best and most exciting stories to tell of the times they had with Alexis. She is so valued and treasured by our family and her impact is indescribable. It’s so hard to trust people with your children, but the ease and comfort she gave me is something i am forever grateful for. She is a blessing to have as a caregiver, a role model and as a friend.
