I have experience in caring for 3 children for a number of years. They were aged 5, 7 and 12. I also, during that time, cared for 2 pets. I do not believe that the time that you spend taking care of children should be preoccupied with distractions (i. e cell phones, laptops etc), I believe the time that is spent with the children and pets should be solely devoted to taking care of them and meeting all of their needs as they need to be met. I started babysitting when I was around the age of 12.
