About Alex

My husband and I are planning to take a year to travel to a new city every 3-4 months before settling down to (hopefully) have kids of our own. I've always loved working with kids and would love to be able to nanny as we have this adventure year. I have been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of pediatric settings over the past 5 years, including a Children's Hospital (specializing in infant-driven/pediatric feeding), Early Intervention (specializing in early language development), and an Early Childhood Special Education classroom. Prior to becoming an SLP, I worked as a Counselor, Athletic Director, and Women's Director at a sports camp for 8 years. Additionally, I have been babysitting and nannying for families of 1-4 children since I was 12 years old. I am currently CPR certified. I love adventuring outdoors, baking/cooking, playing tennis, and throwing themed events. Looking forward to connecting soon!
