I like caring for seniors because I grew up visiting my grandmother in assisted living, I spent volunteer hours as a teenager in nursing homes, and it's fulfilling to let seniors maintain their dignity in their aging. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue to have hands on experience with the flexibility to get my nursing license so I can transition into hospice care. I started caring for seniors when my grandfather was terminally ill, and his wishes were to stay at home. My family brought in hospice nurses for the end, and I cared for him between their shifts.
