Hi! My name is Alex . I am a certified elementary school teacher taking a break from the classroom. I taught second & third grade, and was nominated for teacher of the year. I also have 15 years of babysitting & nannying experience. Most recently, I was a nanny for over a year to a 1-year-old. I am still in contact with her family, as we created a great bond! As a caregiver, I'm patient, calm, and bubbly! I believe that play is essential for children's learning and development, so I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. When it comes to communication with parents, I follow their preferred method, ensuring that they are always informed about their child's day and any issues that arise. I also respect and follow the household rules set by the parents. With a college degree in Elementary Education, I'm well-equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children.
