About Alexandria

Hello! I'm a high-energy, patient, and caring tutor located in NW DC. I started tutoring and providing homework assistance for elementary-age children in high school, and I currently work as a part-time health teacher at Community School for Autistic Adults and Children. I have experience creating engaging lesson plans and guiding learners of all ages and all abilities through their own personal growth journey. I love to engage creative minds and encourage students to find their love for learning. My educational experience is focused on science, health, and wellness, but I am able to provide guidance on all subjects - including test prep and study skills - up to a 5th-grade level. For older learners, I am able to tutor in biology. I scored a 35 on the Science section of the ACT, and I scored a 5 on the AP Biology Exam.
