About Alexandria

I'd describe my personality as responsible, determined, and passionate. I like working with kids because it gives me a feeling of joy and there is no better feeling when a child is smiling and laughing. I'm looking for a job that is consistent, fun, and close in proximity to me. I started working with kids when I was 17. I was in a program where I was a mentor for an elementary student. Since then I have been a tutor, an after school program teacher. a summer camp teacher, and babysat for over 5 years. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, hike, spend time with my family, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I give my all when it comes to my job whether it is tutoring or babysitting. My skills include making sure the child is safe, being silly with them when needed, and dealing with difficult emotions when they arise.
