Some of my best days include seeing something amazing through a child's eyes. I am hoping to find full time employment with a family that needs a long term caregiver with passion, experience and a natural affinity for nurturing. I grew up helping care for my cousin who has Down Syndrome. He is the source of my passion and patience for people with special needs. In my years as a preschool teacher, I had the opportunity to work with children who had a variety of conditions that required special consideration.

Alex cared for my daughter who has autism for 2 years. My girl is non-verbal, had bathroom/potty issues (not fully toilet trained), and has some pretty challenging behaviors. A handled all of her needs with patience and love. She did school pick ups every day, and helped with daily ABA sessions. She even did a couple of full weekends of round the clock care when my husband and I went out of town. She's a great cook and always respected our daughter's special diet. She handled our daughters bathing, and laundry, took her on outings to really cool places, and we always knew she'd be safe with A. We trust her with our girl and we will always miss her. So sad she moved on, but any family who meets her is lucky to have her.
