I've always been surrounded by animals, growing up in a family that loved having pets. Over the years, we have had a variety of animals, including a hermit crab, a hamster, a guinea pig, cats, and dogs. My journey with pet care began when I begged my parents for a dog. They agreed on one condition: I had to prove I was responsible enough to care for pets. I spent a year consistently walking my neighbors' dogs, and eventually, we adopted Cody, our family dog. Caring for Cody deepened my love for animals, and I continued pet sitting for my neighbors. By the time I left for school, I had 5-6 families who regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. Over the years, I've also fostered dogs and helped friends with their pets, which ultimately inspired me to get a golden retriever of my own last year.
