About Alexandra

I am a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with extensive experience honed first and foremost through my role as a mother. In addition to caring for my family, I provided full-time care for my grandfather, who suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's, for 3 years leading up to his passing in March. During this time, I learned firsthand the challenges and rewards of caring for individuals with cognitive impairments, and I gained a deep understanding of the patience, empathy, and attention to detail required for senior care. My responsibilities included managing his medication needs, assisting with light wound care, and supporting his personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing. I also took on housekeeping duties, food preparation, and helping with feeding to ensure he remained well-nourished and hydrated. Understanding the importance of maintaining a sense of connection, I provided companionship and made sure he felt safe, respected, and comfortable throughout the aging process
