I started caring for people with special needs when I was in high school. I had a neighbor with Down syndrome and was a caregiver for her throughout most of her life. I worked with a variety of adults, teens, and children with disabilities while in high school, undergrad, and graduate school. In my spare time, I like to read, go on walks, paint, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am incredibly passionate about what I do as a special education teacher and strive to do everything I can to help individuals with special needs exceed in life. My skills include attention to detail, organization, and creativity.
