Hello! I am a compassionate, hard-working licensed occupational therapist pursuing employment as an OT, but hope to work part-time for a person with disabilities. I am passionate about working with these individuals to enhance their independence and quality of life. I have spent a lot of time working in programming that serves these individuals, and cherished every moment I spent there. As an occupational therapist, I am trained to intervene and assist in all areas of occupation and am also a very quick to learn other health management requirements. I have two years of paid personal care aide experience, on top of 3 years of a doctorate program where I was frequently involved with persons of disabilities in various settings (hospital, inpatient care, outpatient care, recreational programs, adult day care). I look forward to the opportunity to help care for and improve quality of life for all individuals!
