I am a recent college graduate from UCSB, and I have always had a passion for working with kids. In college I was a Student Ambassador because I wanted to help incoming students find their way and feel at home. Going way back before college, though, I've always loved working and playing with kids -- I was always the one in the family that cared for the little kids at family parties, spent time with the neighbors' kids, and in high school I authored a nationally-published children's book that's currently being distributed by Simon & Schuster. As I study toward an advanced nursing degree, I'm hopeful to stay connected to kids by meeting some amazing families who need some help with their kids. I think my personality, and my senses of responsibility and caring will be a perfect fit!
