About Alexandra

I grew up as the oldest of four children. During my years growing up, I spent a lot of time watching out and caring for my younger siblings. With my youngest brother, I was even changing diapers. I also spent a few years of high school babysitting for friends of the family. The kids I babysat were between four and 8 years old. I have also spent some time working with children in school settings. My senior year of high school I was a part of a program called School And Society, where I helped out in a fourth grade classroom every day with different sorts of activities. Most often, I would run a small reading group of four or five kids. Most recently, I helped to facilitate an after school program for third, fourth and fifth graders in Salem, Massachusetts. I am currently pursuing a degree in Education, so I really enjoy working with kids.
