About Alexandra

My name is Alexandra, I'm a 20-year-old college student pursuing a degree in Journalism at Fullerton. I enjoy reading, yoga, cooking and more than anything - my family! I adore my two younger siblings, my brother is 11 and my sister is 13. Growing up, I was heavily involved in the care and raising of my brother and sister. It takes a village! In high school I began pursuing a career in health care and I became interested in gerontology. I volunteered at the local retirement home for years. I would go every week just to spend time with the residents. Most of the time I would spend time listening to their stories, playing bingo, dominoes, and taking walks with them. After a few years I became an intern. My training at the retirement home included meal preparation, transporting residents and participating in activities with the residents. I am CPR and first aid certified. I worked as an intern at a Cancer Research center in Houston the summer of 2013 and spent much of my time working with cancer patients. Employers should expect the highest level of commitment from me. I have a highly energetic personality coupled with plenty of patience. If everything works out, I look forward to meeting you!
