About Alexandra

Hi There! I'm Alexandra (Lex) - I work full time as an epidemiologist, and I have a passion for working with kids. I love the energy and light they bring to our lives. I have experience working as a sitter, part-time nanny, and experience in education. Throughout high school and college, I was a swim instructor, primarily for pre-school aged children. Additionally, I have worked as an educator for a summer Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math program for kids ages 5-12. Most recently, I've had the joy of caring for my 7-m. o. niece :) As a caretaker, I am kind, curious, and enthusiastic. I love learning from each other and fostering children's bright spirits. I love coming up with creative activities and encourage safe, experiential learning. In addition to ensuring your children are safe, enriched, and cared for, I can prepare food and will always leave the home clean. I am highly professional and value communication, transparency, and reliability.
