I will be graduating in May with a Master's in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. I completed a full-time student teaching internship in a Special Education resource room for students in grades 1st-5th. I also student taught in 6th, 7th and 8th grade students with special needs in the self-contained and co-teaching setting. I worked as a camp counselor and a group leader at a summer camp for individuals of all ages with disabilities. I have worked with individuals with autism, down syndrome, learning disabilities, visual impairments, mild to moderate mental impairments, and other health impairments. I believe that I am very patient and kind. I am honest and hardworking. I have a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and attempting to encourage independence and happiness!
