My experience begins with the care of my niece born with cerebral palsy 12 years ago. What felt like all of a sudden, at my doorstep was a 2-year-old boy which then advanced into 24-hr care for the next two super awesome years. Amongst these unexpected blessings I decided to extend my skill to a family of 6 with 4 children under 7 (including a newborn) for three years. After a short two year somewhat of a break from child-care, I traveled all over the country and met the love of my life and we now have our own little one on the way.
