About Alexandra

I'd describe my personality as honest, loyal, and friendly. I like working with kids because I understand the importance of showing up and being there. As it goes for adults, kids will remember how you interact with them and the impact it has on their lives. I enjoy listening to their stories, creating activities, reading, adventures, and so much more. I'm looking for a job that I can provide help to those in need or an extra hand. I have experience as a para pro and substitute teacher for the Yakima School District, and I also have helped with childcare at gyms. I can provide help with childcare, light housekeeping, pet care, and so on. I started working with kids as early as high school, which was about 16 years ago. Over the years, I was asked to help with babysitting, work at summer camps, intern at DSHS, para pro and substitute teaching. In my spare time, I own an esthetician business, care for my mom, and enjoy spending time outside - walking, gardening, hiking.
