About Alexandra

Hi! I would describe myself as a life long learner in many areas. I have a BS degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of North Carolina CH (2019). I am a first year Dental Student at NYU. Many years of science courses has taught me how to explain complex topics in a simple, relatable, and memorable terms. Biology can be difficult, but by breaking it down and finding out what the question is asking, even the most complex questions can be answered. In addition to my academic career; I was a Division 1 Field Hockey goalie for all my years at UNC; where we won 3 conference titles and 2 National Championships. I have 6+ years of experience in coaching; which I believe translates to how I tutor. I have played guitar and piano for 8+ years and I absolutely love music. I am patient and very focused; after many years of juggling school, sports, and music, I have acquired many organizational skills and efficiency tips that I believe can benefit anyone.
