About Alexandra

I have 9 years of experience in healthcare. I attained my PCT/CNA certification in 2016. I am trained to perform EKG's, phlebotomy, provide direct/indirect care to individuals, as well as further training in first aid, BSL, mental health, and completed my clinical alongside RNs and LPNs. I currently work full time for a DME company as well as per diem at a hospital. I am at the end of the road of completing my bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in psychology, with plans to pursue an ABSN to begin my next steps as an RN/BSN. Working in the field, mostly providing home care, while in school has allowed me to gain great experience in the various conditions that may impact patient's day to day. It has given me experience of patient time with individuals with dementia, spinal injuries and paralysis, post stroke care, wound care, Parkinson's, and so very much more. I genuinely take pride in what I do, I am always seeking more knowledge and new experiences in the field of healthcare.
